Websites

Building sites that sell a service business.

Most of the websites I build are fast custom sites without a heavy content management system. This site is one of them: lightweight, simple to host, and deployed automatically every time a change is made. I skip the heavy CMS for two practical reasons, speed and running cost, and for a site that changes a few times a year that is usually the right trade.

When a business needs content that keeps growing, I build sites that run themselves, like BabyJunctions, where publishing and SEO are automated. And I build landing pages whose forms send each lead straight to WhatsApp or a CRM, because a form that lands in an inbox nobody checks loses leads however good the page looks. These posts cover how I plan and build sites that sell a service.

Working together

Got something like this to automate?

I take on a small number of builds at a time, as ongoing engagements with a defined scope rather than one-off tasks. If you have a process that is costing your team real hours every week, tell me what it is and I will tell you straight whether it is worth automating.
